Expertise and swift action - decisive factors in all Appeal work

At MTM we have long experience of appeals work - we advise and help many people. Our Solicitor Advocates are active in the Court of Criminal Appeal and can represent you if have already been convicted and sentenced.

The results of appeal work can be dramatic; fines can be halved and prison sentences quashed, dramatically reduced or commuted. Successful appeal work can also have a huge positive effect on your family and your employment.

Legal aid is very often available for appeals. If you had legal aid in your original case then that will mean that you will automatically be entitled to legal aid for your appeal. In circumstances where legal aid is not available, we are happy to discuss reasonable legal fees. In all cases, we will agree everything with you beforehand - there will never be any unexpected bills to pay.

As with so many legal matters, it is absolutely imperative that you take swift action to start your appeal as strict legal time limits apply. We can often give initial advice over the telephone and appointments can be arranged, sometimes even within 24 hours, to take full instructions and lodge your appeal. Take a look at our Appeals Information sheet for more details.

If you wish to appeal against a conviction, a sentence or both, contact MTM immediately on 0800 328 0944 and we will be pleased to provide you with expert opinion on the prospects of your case succeeding in the courts.
